Crochet From The Beginning, Day #1
My name is Connie and I will be your instructor.
Hey to all my student!!! LOL This is the first day of my crochet course and I’m so happy that the day is finally here!! YIPPY!! Hope everyone is doing good and ready to learn some fantastic CROCHET techniques
A bit about me. Everyone who knows me knows that I absolutely LOVE crochet and have been practicing and honing this timeless art form for the past 45 years. I do have to say that this is the first time that I’ll be teaching over 200 students at one time! Ya just got to love the internet, because it’s allowing me to do this and to include all of you!
I’d like to welcome everyone to my course, I’m over-joyed to have you all with me on what’s going to be a fantastic ride!!!
On that note I’d like to get to know everyone. Your homework for this first day is to tell me and all your classmates a little bit about yourself. Just whatever comes to mind; like your name, where you live (just your state, country, town, etc…), how long you’ve been crocheting or wanted to learn how to crochet, what you like to do in your spare time, just about anything you’d like us to know about you will be just fine. Add it to our “Comment Box”, right under this post.
Our second day of lessons will be on July 17th, Wednesday, and we will be learning all about Yarn & Crochet Hooks, so please stop on by any time during the day. I will have the post up by 9am Eastern Time.
Please try not to miss any of the lessons, each one is very important to learning the art of crochet. Also each lesson will include a homework assignment. It’s not mandatory that you do the homework, but I highly recommend it, it will help you learn to crochet, “the right way”!
If you already know how to crochet, but you don’t know how to read a pattern or you don’t know how to do special stitches, such as; Granny Squares, Pineapple, Ripple, Motifs (flowers, etc…), Borders/Trims/Finishes, Fans, Shells, Lace, Beaded Crochet, Crochet in the round, Charted/Intarsia Crochet, and the list goes on and on, you will learn all of that throughout the coming months, so don’t miss out on a single lesson.
I look forward to seeing and teaching all of you!
See you on July 17th and don’t forget your homework assignment:-)
If you have any questions at any time just post them to the comment box. If it’s something you’d like to privately talk to me about, then send me an email here: PDF-Patterns@cyberservices.com
I will be more than happy to help you in any way that I can.
Thank You!
